Types of Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

In recent years, society has become more conscious of germs, which has prompted the demand for hand sanitizer dispensers. They are becoming popular and being put up everywhere, at grocery store entrances, business desks, offices and homes. Multiple styles and sizes are available to accommodate commercial and personal use.

Hand sanitizer dispensers have become increasing popular with the more educated the public has become about bacteria. Colds, flu’s, H1N1 and other common illnesses are spread through the transfer of germs through touch and, through hand sanitation; you can significantly reduce the risk of illness. Most of the antiseptics will kill 99% of germs, including E. Coli and Salmonella, which are common germs.

There are many different styles of hand sanitizer dispensers that range in size, price and availability. Different designs accommodate personal consumers on the go and at home. There are two very simple on-the-go hand sanitizer dispensers. One is a small tube with a spray cap that fits in a pocket or purse, the other is a small bottle that contains a gel that is squeezed out of the container. They both hold only a few ounces, which make them ideal for on the go. These are inexpensive and are most commonly found in the travel size toiletries and cost just a dollar or two if you’re looking for a hand sanitizer dispenser.

For the home, there are many types of hand sanitizer dispensers that are appealing to the eye. There is the common pump bottle that has contains gel, and more recently some produce foam. Models that are more expensive automatically dispense foam at the detection of movement. Most come in white, occasionally with accent colors, but stainless steel, grey and black are also available. These typically have refillable cartridges that are available at most household stores. Simple, average size bottles of about 8oz costs about $6. Home automated foam pumps average $20.

At the office, there is a hand sanitizer dispenser that fits on the end of a pen that sprays antibacterial hand sanitizer. In waiting rooms and reception areas, wall mounts with a push or automated dispensing system are ideal for larger amounts of use. The capacity of sanitizer is larger and they are sturdy and made for long time usage. These are available through the commercial supply stores and the internet. Floor stands are available for the commercial dispensers so they do not have to be mounted on a wall. They come in metal and plastic and hold one to four dispensers. These are convenient outside in front of portable restrooms or where soap and water are not readily available. Wall mount hand sanitizer dispensers can be relatively cheap at $20, but that does not include the sanitizer, just the pump, they can but upwards of $70. Floor stands run approximately $55 for single dispenser stands.

Towelette hand dispenser sanitizers are also very convenient. Not only can you sanitize your hands but wipe down the shopping cart handle for you and your kids in the cart. These are available in travel size or in large rolls that floor stand dispensers are also available for. An average dispenser for these will cost around $35.

Hand sanitizer dispensers are now available in every size and are designed to fit whatever the need is. While it has been shown small amounts of bacteria are good for the body, people are exposed to many harmful germs daily that are unneeded. With a wide range of prices, anyone can find what they want and put one everywhere they want to keep their hands germ free.
